As a term, the "British Accent" is a broad generalization. Depending on how specifically the UK accents are categorized, there can easily be hundreds of them to speak of, like the accent of one given village or accent of an area in London.

In this mission, we will narrow them down to England.

Field Practice

Now watch those vids and try to identify the accents. Note that none of the speakers will demonstrate all the features of a given accent, so it may be tricky at times. Also, it’s okay if you don’t understand every word they say.
